Like puppets on invisible strings, the characters of Putul Nacher Itikatha wrestle with fate, freedom, and the illusions that bind their lives together.

Directed by Suman Mukhopadhyay, this thought-provoking Bengali drama intricately weaves human desires and destinies against the backdrop of societal change and moral conflict. Featuring a stellar ensemble cast — Jaya Ahsan, Abir Chatterjee, Surangana Banerjee, Ananya Chatterjee, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, and Santilal Mukherjee — the film explores the eternal dance between choice and circumstance, truth and pretense. Produced by Samiran Das, Putul Nacher Itikatha promises a visually poetic and emotionally layered cinematic experience that blurs the line between reality and performance.
