“Vallavan Vanguthadhada” is a 2024 Tamil-thriller screenplay and direction written by Vinayek Durai. Featuring Regin Rose, Tej Charanraj, Swathi Meenakshi, Aananya Mani, Rajesh Balachandiran, and Vikram Adhitya, the film discusses greed, desperation, and fate.
It's about five broke people who are struggling to survive and caught up in the grip of cruel moneylenders. When the evening comes, things take a turning point for the worse, sending them on a series of unbelievable events that test their survival skills.
Caught in the middle of the mayhem are “Chiranjeevi” (Tej Charanraj) and “Chakkaravarthi” (Regin Rose), two small-time crooks with contrasting attitudes. Their new carjacking venture goes haywire, bringing in more desperate souls.
“Subhatra” (Swathi Meenakshi) is one of them, an ex-Uber driver who got fired and is buried under debt. She meets “Agalya” (Aananya Mani), a sharp con artist who cheats lonely men on matrimony websites to rob them. "Neethimani" (Rajesh Balachandiran), a corrupt cop, on the other hand, cares less about upholding the law than he does about profiting.
Looming over their fates is "Kuberan" (Vikram Adhitya), a ruthless loan shark who controls every aspect of their lives. With debts piling up and no escape in sight, every character has to choose how far they will go to break free from their destiny.
As the darkness falls, there are betrayals, stunning plot twists, and deadly choices pushing them toward a heart-stopping conclusion. There are people who attempt to cheat destiny, and there are others who get cheated by their own greed. But can they outsmart the hands of karma, or is it all sealed in their fate?
With an intriguing plot and powerful performances, "Vallavan Vanguthadhada" has one sitting on the edge of his seat, and hence it's an electrifying experience for lovers of crime and suspense drama.
