Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s new film is in a lot of buzz these days. The film’s producer had cancelled the theatrical release a day before its theatrical release, after which the multiplex chain ‘PVR Cinemas’ filed a lawsuit of sixty crore rupees against Maddock Films.

Rajkummar Rao’s film ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ is returning to the theatres after some legal proceedings. Earlier, Maddock Films scheduled the film to release on 9th May, but they postponed its theatrical release on 8th May due to tensions between India and Pakistan.

Later, the multiplex chain suffered a massive loss because the film had quite a lot of advance bookings. Thus, PVR filed a case against Maddock Films.

Court’s Order for Maddock Films

As per a report by Prabhat Khabar, the court asked Dinesh Vijan, the founder of the production house, to release the film in theatres and stream it on OTT eight weeks after its theatrical release.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that PVR Inox has withdrawn the sixty-crore-rupees legal case. As per the court order given to Maddock films, the film will be released in theatres on 23rd May, 2025. Moreover, it would be quite interesting to see the film’s performance at the box office.
