The Night Manager, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor, came out last week to overwhelmingly positive reviews, particularly from the fraternity. In point of fact, the show's director, Sandeep Modi, and the filmmaker-producer Karan Johar appear to be very impressed with the work as well. According to recent reports, Karan Johar and his company Dharma Productions appear to have agreed to make two films together. "Sandeep Modi has been working on a script for the last two years and the things are now locked on paper with regards to the story," the details of this deal were revealed. Dharma Production is producing his next big-budget action film. The team wants to make a big action movie, so even though the script is almost finished, the film will start pre-production this summer.
"It will be a big star-cast film and will proceed into the casting stage by this summer," the source continued, "although details of the casting are not yet revealed." His second film with Dharma is still under wraps, but he already has an idea that has been approved by Karan Johar. We are informed that the film's schedule will be released by the end of the year. Aditya Roy Kapur plays a spy in The Night Manager, which is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar. Anil Kapoor plays a feared gangster, and Sobhita Dhulipala plays the girlfriend of the latter. The show is an Indian take on the novel of the same name by John Le Carre.
Karan Johar is currently getting ready to release his much-anticipated directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles and is expected to have supporting roles for Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. The movie is supposed to come out on July 28, 2023.
