Srijit Mukherjee announced his new film 'Lawho Gouranger Naam Re.' The first look of the film was released a few days ago. The film is basically about Sri Chaitanya and the confluence of different times. So the director had finalized who would be the Gauranga in the film from the beginning.

It was announced that Dibyojyoti Dutta would be seen in this role. Then the picture of her Gauranga form was also brought forward. However, as soon as Dibyojyoti's name came up as Gauranga, a comparison with the 'Chaitanya' of the small screen, Jishu Sengupta, naturally started being drawn. Then, of course, it was known that Jishu would also be in 'Lawho Gouranger Naam Re.' And now the first look of the actor has been released.

The director Srijit Mukherjee shared their picture on his social media page. In the picture, Jishu is seen wearing a blue turban, a blue uttariya hanging from his shoulders, a tilak painted with sandalwood on his forehead, and a garland of basil around his neck. On the other hand, 'Chaitanya'  Dibyojyoti catches the eye with a shaved head, a tilak painted with sandalwood on his forehead, and a saffron uttariya.

It was being heard that Jishu could be seen in the role of Nityananda Prabhu in this film. Moreover, there was news that the shooting of the film would start this month. Accordingly, the shooting of the film has already started. And from the floor, Jishu captured the look of Nityananda Prabhu in his own way with Dibyojyoti in the guise of Gauranga.

Let me tell you that 'Lawho Gouranger Naam Re' is jointly produced by Rana Sarkar and SVF. The shooting will be done in Kolkata, but the makers are planning to shoot in Puri during the Rath Yatra event.
